Poole Rugby Club is a community rugby union club based at Turlin Moor Recreation Ground in Hamworthy. Established in 1960, the club welcomes adult men and women alongside junior boys and girls, with no previous rugby experience required. Training and matches generally run between August and May, giving local players opportunities to learn rugby, improve their fitness and join competitive teams within a friendly and inclusive Poole sports club.

The Poole Bay 100 returns in June 2027 for a high-speed day of offshore powerboat racing across Poole Bay and Bournemouth’s coastline. Every Friday and Saturday evening in August, visitors can join professional dancers, musicians and DJs for styles ranging from Commercial and African dance to Bollywood, Vintage Jazz, Hip Hop, Ceilidh and Salsa.
