SandFest returns to Sandbanks Beach for its landmark 10th anniversary celebration in July 2027.
The one-day boutique beach festival transforms part of Sandbanks’ famous golden shoreline into an open-air dancefloor, surrounded by views of Poole Bay, Old Harry Rocks and boats moving through the surrounding water.
Organisers have described the 2027 festival as their biggest and most ambitious edition yet, with a newly designed main stage and a reimagined festival experience planned for the anniversary. The full artist line-up has not yet been announced.
Previous SandFest events have featured house, dance, garage, drum and bass, rap and party music, with the stage welcoming internationally recognised DJs and live performers. The 2026 line-up included MK, DJ EZ and Notion, giving visitors an indication of the style of music traditionally associated with the festival.
Alongside the music, visitors can expect fully licensed bars and a selection of street-food traders across the festival site. Food and drink cannot be brought into the arena, so refreshments must be purchased inside.

The festival entrance is located on the promenade between Sandbanks Beach and the main Sandbanks car park, close to Rick Stein’s restaurant on Banks Road.
Sandbanks becomes extremely busy during major summer events, so visitors are encouraged to use public transport or arrange taxis in advance. The nearest railway stations include Branksome and Parkstone, although both remain some distance from the festival site.
Bus options normally include the Breezer 50 from Bournemouth and the Breezer 60 from Poole. Walking times given by the organiser are approximately 25 minutes from Branksome Beach, 15 minutes from the Sandbanks chain ferry and one hour from Bournemouth Pier. Transport arrangements should be checked again closer to the event.
SandFest is a paid event, with standard and VIP tickets available online. Current availability and prices should be checked through the official ticket page.
Visitors requiring a complimentary carer ticket should first purchase a standard ticket for the person requiring assistance, then complete the organiser’s access form and submit the required supporting documentation.
