Poole Yacht Club is one of the established sailing clubs on the South Coast, offering a community for people interested in sailing, boating and life around Poole Harbour.
The club caters for a range of interests, from recreational cruising and competitive racing to training, social activities and practical boat ownership.

Activities available through the club can include:
Courses are designed for different ages and experience levels, including people learning to sail and those hoping to develop existing skills. Current course dates, age requirements and charges are available through the club’s booking system.
Poole Yacht Club’s Haven provides berths for approximately 378 boats, together with swinging moorings outside the marina. A seasonal launch service is available for members using the moorings.
The club also offers boat storage and services including haul-out, pressure washing, towing and relaunching. Availability, vessel restrictions and charges should be confirmed directly with the Haven or Yard team.

Several membership categories are available to reflect different ages and sailing interests. New members are welcomed throughout the year and can request a membership information pack through the club’s official enquiry form.
Membership costs and joining fees are reviewed periodically, so applicants should check the latest published fees before applying.
Members can become involved beyond sailing through racing support, club activities and volunteering opportunities. The club also operates a volunteer Night Watch programme connected with the Haven.
Its waterfront setting and social facilities give members somewhere to meet before or after time on the water, as well as attend organised club events.
