Founded in the 1980s, Poole Town Ladies FC is one of Dorset’s longest-running women’s football teams. The club currently runs a regional first team and a development team, giving players opportunities to compete at different levels and progress within the senior setup.

The first team competes in the South West Women’s Regional Football League, while the development team plays in the Dorset Women’s League.
The club also works with Poole Town FC Wessex to create a pathway for girls moving from youth football into the adult women’s game.
The official club page currently lists training twice each week:
Players should contact the club before attending, as venues and times may change during the season.

Poole Town Ladies FC welcomes enquiries from new players, including women who are new to football, returning after time away or seeking a different competitive challenge.
Places may depend on squad requirements and playing experience, so prospective members should email the club for current trial and training information.
The club is self-funded and welcomes enquiries from local businesses interested in sponsorship or partnership opportunities. Support helps cover the costs of training, facilities, travel and competitive football.
