Just Sing Contemporary Choir is a friendly adult community choir meeting weekly at Magna Academy in Poole. Open to anyone aged 18 and above, the choir requires no audition, previous singing experience or ability to read sheet music. Members sing contemporary music across a range of styles, take part in optional performances and enjoy a relaxed, sociable atmosphere. The first taster session is free, making it easy for new singers to try the choir before joining.

Just Sing is designed to make group singing enjoyable and accessible. There are no auditions, no sheet music and no technical musical language, and adults can join without any previous choir experience.
Members help shape the repertoire by suggesting songs, while the group places equal importance on singing, friendship and having fun.
The choir sings a wide variety of contemporary music, including pop, rock and musical theatre. Members may also have opportunities to perform at events and festivals around Dorset, although taking part is not compulsory.
Just Sing holds an annual Christmas concert to raise money for a charity chosen by the choir. The organisation states that it has raised more than £55,000 for local charities and causes over its first 11 years.
The first taster session is free and there is no joining fee. Weekly rehearsals currently cost £7.50 per session when paid monthly in advance, including lyrics, rehearsal material and recordings.
A flexible pay-as-you-go option is also available for £10 per session. Just Sing additionally runs themed workshops during school half terms, which are open to non-members as well as regular singers.
