Performance opportunities include informal end-of-term concerts, Spring and Christmas performances with other P&P sections, and appearances at schools and community events around Poole. Taking part in performances is optional.
Membership is open to adults of all experience levels and there is no audition. Reading music can be helpful but is not essential, making the choir suitable for complete beginners as well as people who have sung in choirs before.
New members can attend a rehearsal at any time, with the first session offered free. After joining P&P for £6 per year, sessions currently cost £5 per week on a flexible pay-as-you-go basis, payable by cash or card.
