Poole Men’s Shed is a friendly workshop and social group based at the Limelights Centre in Canford Heath. The registered charity gives local people, particularly men, a welcoming place to meet, share practical skills and work on personal or community projects. Members can enjoy woodworking, making and repairing items, organised activities and informal conversation, helping people stay active, build friendships and reduce loneliness or social isolation in Poole.
Poole Market brings independent traders to the pedestrianised section of Poole High Street every Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year. Visitors can browse stalls selling everything from fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants to clothing, books, children’s toys and takeaway food, all alongside the High Street’s existing shops and cafés. Free to visit and running from 9am until 3pm, the market is an easy way to support local traders while exploring Poole town centre.
